This one had been on my list for a while.
Ever since I saw YouTuber Yoo Hye-joo mention “MAPS” in her videos, it stuck in my head.
And on one particularly exhausting evening, I gave in.
It was one of those nights — all I wanted was something spicy, something with a little fire to wrap up the day.
So I walked from Songjeong Station, about 10 minutes through quiet streets, until I saw it:

a small shop with colorful flower signs, menu photos taped to the window, and the scent of grilled gochujang in the air.
🌶️ Should I Eat In? Nah, Let’s Pack It.
I thought about dining in, but the idea of collapsing at home in sweatpants was too good.
No apps, no delivery fees — I called the shop, placed my order the old-school way, and picked it up myself.

🍗 First Look: Spicy, Glossy, and... Cute?
The moment I opened the foil tray, I actually smiled.
There they were — tiny curled-up pieces of boneless chicken feet, shimmering in red sauce, topped with a generous pile of green scallions.
They looked... cute. Like spicy little dumplings.
First bite: chewy, sticky, and spicy like buldak (fire noodles).
I’m not great with heat, but this was worth the burn. The sauce wasn’t just hot — it had depth, smoke, and sweetness.
🍳 The Real MVP: Egg Steamed at Home
Somewhere in the middle of mouthfuls, I thought:
“Ugh... I should’ve bought gyeran-jjim (steamed egg).”
And right then — no joke — my wife walked in with a bowl of freshly steamed egg.
It was soft, warm, and exactly what my tongue needed. Together, they were the perfect team.

💸 Worth It?
₩21,000 for the boneless chicken feet might sound like a lot,
but considering the portion and satisfaction level? Totally fair.
Perfect for two.
Even better with a cold beer.
And honestly, I’m already planning to try their spicy pork ribs next time.
This wasn’t just about spice.
It was about comfort.
About ending the day with warmth — in more ways than one.
If you’re ever in Songjeong and craving something bold and messy after dark, MAPS delivers — in foil trays and flavor.
